Welcome to the Festival of Hope


The Festival of Hope is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help cancer patients who live in Western Nebraska and Eastern Wyoming with non-medical expenses as they relate to their cancer care and treatment. There is a sincere interest by the Festival of Hope to help those applicants who qualify for assistance.

The Festival of Hope is a grass roots fundraising event organized by volunteers committed to assist area cancer patients during the treatment process.

The Event

Crisis situations of cancer patients are real and devastating. Our committee members recognize this and reach out to them in a number of ways. In order to raise the monies for prospective recipients, community volunteers come together and organize an enjoyable event, hence…….… The Festival of Hope!

Happenings at our Event:

Our morning Event begins with a 5K plus two children’s Fun Runs and breakfast is available, served by the Knights of Columbus. We also have a Butterfly Wall of Hope, Penny Carnival, Silent Auction, Live Auction, Entertainment plus a variety of booths which include FOH T-shirt sales, Bridgeport Bake Sale and others. The Event rounds out with Reading of the Names from the Wall of Hope and a Live Butterfly Release. The Saturday before Father’s Day is our traditional date.

The next Festival of Hope will take place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Grace Chapel in Scottsbluff, NE. Address: 300 Valley View Drive

REGISTRATION FOR THE 5K RUN/WALK, CHILDRENS FUN RUNS, AND FOR BUTTERFLIES WILL BE AVAILABLE ON SATURDAY AT THE EVENT AND ONLINE STARTING IN APRIL OR MAY.
